Programme for the afternoon
2pm: Assemble at the car park end of Dominion Road, Southall
2.35pm: Special tribute to Gurdip Singh Chaggar from his family and friends

2.45pm: Procession sets off
The procession will be lead by young people from the area holding flags and the artwork and placards they have created remembering the events of 1979, as well as challenging the growth of racism and the far right in the current climate.

We will lay flowers (red and white) at the spots where Gurdip Singh Chaggar and Blair Peach spent their last moments.

4pm (approx): Procession reaches Southall Town Hall
4.15pm: Rally starts with speakers

Starting at Dominion Road, Southall
turn left onto The Green and go past Southall train station,
turn left onto Beaconsfield Road.
turn right onto Abbotts Road,
turn first right onto Oswald Road,
turn right onto Broadway,
turn right onto Orchard Ave/ Beechcroft,
turn right back onto Broadway and make our way to Southall Town Hall by 4.30pm for a public rally.
